New product line: microfiltration capsules for laboratory
Microfiltration capsules widen our range of laboratory products, providing practical and effective solutions for the management of liquids, in combination with membrane separation technologies.
The capsules consist of a disposable polypropylene container, which can be combined with a variety of pleated filter media:
- a polypropylene fiber membrane for efficient filtration at a competitive cost (standard filtration grades 3-5 microns);
- a polyethersulfone membrane for absolute filtration (standard filtration degree 0.45 micron).
However, membranes in different materials and with different porosities are available on request.
In this way it is possible to carry out the pre-filtration of the sample, guaranteeing a reduced dead volume, to optimize the performance of the membrane separation systems that follow.
