Ceramic membranes
Tubular ceramic membranes for simulating cross flow filtration processes
Sepra offers a complete range of pilot plants, from laboratory scale to industrial prototyping. For tangential filtration tests (microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis) on solution volumes in the order of 5-20 liters, tubular ceramic membranes can be used which, although working with reduced dimensions, are already simulating the process of an industrial plant.
These membranes can be used in the MEMBRATEST system designed by Sepra or in other similar commercially available equipment.
The MEMBRATEST system must simply be connected to a process line where the liquid to be treated is available or to a feed tank previously loaded with a suitable quantity of solution (normally 5-200 liters). It is therefore possible to carry out a sample, batch or continuous separation. The feed tank can also be used for washing.
